Project Title Downstream adjustments in mountain channel geometry

Project Abstract The project will focus on field work along North St. Vrain Creek in the Colorado Front Range. We will be conducting detailed surveys of channel geometry and flow hydraulics in order to evaluate reach-scale adjustments of channel processes and form to gradient imposed by the valley. The fieldwork will be conducted in periods of 2-3 days at a time, throughout June and the first half of July.
